Hello, I'm Courtney
Integrative Healing for People & Pets
Integrative remote healing for people and animals, offering gentle, complementary support for behavioural, emotional, and whole-system wellbeing – available internationally, with in-person sessions in Hilton, KZN.
What I Do
What is Specialised Kinesiology?
Specialised Kinesiology is a gentle, complementary approach that works with the body’s nervous system and neuromuscular feedback to identify and release stress held within the system.
By accessing information below conscious awareness, this work supports physical, emotional, and energetic regulation at a root level, rather than focusing on symptoms alone.
Sessions are client-led, non-invasive, and integrative in nature, supporting the body’s natural capacity to rebalance and restore coherence, whether offered in person or remotely.

How Specialised Kinesiology Works
A gentle, systems-based approach to restoring balance
Specialised Kinesiology is a complementary modality that works with the body’s nervous system, neuromuscular pathways, and self-regulating intelligence, to identify and release pin-pointed stress held within the system.
Rather than focusing only on surface-level symptoms, this work supports the body at the root level, addressing physical, emotional, biochemical, and energetic stress patterns that can influence wellbeing.
The Body as an Intelligent System
The human body is a complex, adaptive system, constantly processing information through the brain, nervous system, and connective tissue networks.
When stress disrupts communication or optimal functioning within this system, it may manifest as pain, fatigue, emotional overwhelm, behavioural changes, or a sense of feeling stuck, anxious or depressed.
Specialised Kinesiology works by specifically identifying where the system is under strain, and supporting the body’s natural ability to reorganise and rebalance.
Muscle Testing: Direct Nervous System Feedback
Muscle testing (manual muscle monitoring) is the primary feedback tool used in Specialised Kinesiology.
This is not a test of strength.
It reflects a neurological response.
Gentle muscle engagement reveals changes in nervous system signaling that occur below conscious control, allowing access to stress patterns the conscious mind may not yet be aware of.
In simple terms, the body provides real-time feedback about what it is ready and neccessary to address.
Energy, Regulation & Modern Science
The nervous system communicates through electrical, chemical, and electromagnetic signals- well-established physiological processes.
What is often described as “energy” in Specialised Kinesiology, can also be understood as bioelectrical and neurophysiological communication within the body.
Emerging fields such as neuroscience, psychoneuroimmunology, and systems biology continue to expand our understanding of how perception, regulation, and stress influence health.
Why Remote Sessions Work
Remote sessions are possible because the nervous system responds to attention, intention, and perception, not physical proximity alone.
With consent, structured protocols, and accurate feedback, the system can be accessed and supported remotely in a calm, ethical, and effective way.
What This Work Is and Is Not
This work is:
• complementary and integrative
• non-invasive and client-led
• supportive of medical or therapeutic care
This work is not:
• diagnostic
• a replacement for medical treatment
• belief-based or forceful
In Summary
Courtney Bone-Bester
Courtney’s journey into Specialised Kinesiology began while she was studying for her Psychology Honours degree. As much as she valued the academic rigour and insights into human behaviour, she became increasingly aware that something essential was missing. The theories explained what people experienced, but not always how to help the body and nervous system release what it was holding.
This curiosity led her to Specialised Kinesiology, where she found the missing piece. A modality that honours both scientific understanding and the body’s individual innate intelligence. What resonated deeply was the way Specialised Kinesiology accessed information beyond conscious awareness, allowing the body itself to guide the process of healing and regulation.
Today, Courtney brings together her academic foundation in Psychology with her intuitive and compassionate approach to Specialised Kinesiology. Her work is gentle, client led, and non invasive, supporting both humans and animals in reconnecting with their own inner wisdom. Whether working with people or pets, Courtney’s focus is on restoring balance at a root level, helping the nervous system feel safe enough to recalibrate. The ultimate goal being to support lasting, meaningful change from the inside out.
